Once the scaffolding is in place and the roof is safely accessible, it's time to take a closer look.

Scaffolding isn't just there to reach the roof. It provides a safe, stable platform to work from, allowing us to properly assess the roof before work begins. It also helps protect both those working at height and the property below.

From the ground, it's not always possible to see the full condition of a roof. Once safe access is in place, we can inspect the areas we'll be working on, make sure everything is ready and plan the work before the first slate comes off. This careful approach is something we follow on all of our re-roofing services.

Every roof is different, particularly on older properties where previous repairs, ageing materials or hidden issues may only become apparent once work begins. Taking the time to prepare properly means there are fewer surprises and helps the project run more smoothly from start to finish.
